Isaac Schwartz / Isaac Slays

Isaac Schwartz – a.k.a. Isaac Slays –started playing drums at age 13. After a few years, he became serious about playing jazz and starting performing around the Bay Area in various groups. Heavily influenced by the music of Eyedea, Wayne Shorter, and Brian Blade, Isaac draws from his vast musical taste to garner a unique voice on the drums. As well as being the drummer for Dynamic Truth, he also plays in his own groups Ditto and Tritto. Isaac plays for a variety of musicians in the area as well as teaching privately how to Slay on drums.
