Sam Schwartz

Sam – lead guitarist and singer for Dynamic Truth – has been playing music since he was eight years old. Sam’s first formal musical training was on classical piano, but as he got older his focus turned towards singing and guitar. By the time he was 18, Sam had won Best Big Band Composition from the Reno Jazz Festival and had also been offered a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music as a guitar principal. The diversity in Sam’s playing knows no bounds. He has played in jazz bands and country music groups, he has scored professional promotional videos, and he has even played gospel guitar in several Baptist churches. In 2009, Sam and Gordon (G Saleem) reconnected and started Dynamic Truth — Sam’s proudest musical accomplishment to date. Sam believes that music is a universal language and that being a good musician is all about the ability to clearly communicate with anyone who has the desire to listen.
